It seems your PDF document is corrupted (internal Catalog has wrong offses). In v7.x, we don't repair PDF documents when opening but maybe we should (we opted out, thinking it may have a little performance impact).

Ok, we have a fix for this:

Version 7.3.2 - February 11, 2025

  • Improved: Repair PDF documents (basic cross reference offset issues) when opening/converting, for example to prevent errors like:
    "Unexpected token Unknown before xxx"
    "Invalid Root reference"
