how to configure public links when using a reverse proxy

I am testing using a reverse proxy with filevista. I am running version 8.3.7.0 - database version 8

When I come to the website with the reverse proxy the download links are generated with the LAN web server name instead of the public name. I can understand why this is happening.

Is there a way to manually edit a configuration file to create the proper public facing URL?
