This detailed error feature was added back in Version 7.0.5 - August 6, 2019:

  • Improved: Detailed "Access Denied" error messages will be shown to troubleshoot insufficent permission issues. The error message will include the safe display path and current windows identity.

Note that this is not an error about FileManager permission, it's about the underlying NTFS permissions so it's caused by underlying Windows file system permissions. When you deny Delete permission in FileManager, you don't see an error message because you don't even see the Delete button in menus.

So the purpose of the detailed error message to help fix your NTFS permission issue. Generally you should give Modify permission (includes Delete permission) for your root folder in Windows Explorer, then you can restrict permissions with FileManager permission layer.

If you don't want to give Delete permission in NTFS permissions, then also deny Delete permission in FileManager's access control.
