Resource not found - public link

Hello,

We have problem with creating public links in FileVista.

We store the files on different server then the VF app is installed. When we create the public link, the generated link is pointing to not existing file (error: Resource not found). If I save the files locally on server, where the VF in installed, public link is created succesfully and pointing to existing file. Any suggestions? Many Thx

It may be a permissions problem thus "Resource not found" error. How did you define your root folder? Did you enter credentials if it's a UNC share? When the public link is accessed, it's anonymous so it will use the root folder credentials if any.

really it is the persmission problem, when I give to Everyone read right, it works.
