Network Upload speeds

Hi
 
When uploading a file to File vista to local storage on the server. I am only receiving 6-7MBps, which is extremely slow. I am on gigabit links...so I would like to limit the upload to 300mbps or 30-40MBps. Does anyone know how to change this?

ping the address and check what ip is resolved , is it internal or external ip ??

Normally there is no built-in speed limit, it may depend on your firewall/proxy (if there is anything in between) or disk speed.
 
Did you test FTP upload speed to the same server?
