Upload Issues
Problem reported by Breeze - 11/6/2014 at 1:37 PM
Not A Problem
We are on an older version of FileVista that has worked well for us for quite a while, but all of sudden our users are getting errors when uploading to us. The error is the following:

System.ArguementOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be a non-negative and less than the size of the collection.

There is more, but I'm aware that this error is apparently caused due to the file failing to upload and then the system looking for the file and not finding it (thus the non-negative reference in the error). We also have a few customers that are uploading to us, the status bar show it complete, but the status bar never goes away and the file never ends up on our site.

Small files (less than 100KB) seem to upload fine, and we've found that upgrading users to IE11 or 12 or changing them to Chrome seems to help.

We have made no changes in our system to cause this, do you have any ideas or suggestions on where to look for a solution?

I suspect this may be caused by database corruption (FileVista.vdb4 file) and may not be related to uploaded files at all. Please try disabling logging for Upload event and if this fixes the issue, this proves the error happens when logging to the database. If this is the case, please send your database file to the support email and we will repair it.

Also let me know your FileVista version (you can check it from bin\GleamTech.FileVista.dll).
